This wedding was just stunning! I absolutely love working with this shade of Tiffany blue. We provided flowers, lighting, linens and ceremony archway for this wedding, and it all came together so perfectly. Everything was so classy and elegant from top to bottom! 1 Part blue Curacao


Directions

Adrienne + Brad had an unforgettable wedding! A Catholic church ceremony followed by a country club tented lakeside reception. Navy blue and yellow was the color scheme, and it turned out beautifully! So chic and classic and elegant! Adrienne's dress was simply breathtaking! She and her father did a polka dance that had everyone cheering. This group had so much fun throughout the day and I absolutely loved working with them! Such fun and beautiful memories! DIY :: Frosted Glass Vases

Here's a great DIY project that won't break the bank. Inexpensive glassware or vases, scotch tape and/or stickers, a little spray paint and spray frost finish, and there you have it! You've created a fancy frosted glass vase fit for flowers, candles, or any other décor use.

Supplies: Martha Stewart Spray Paint Kit (that’s right! turns any of her craft paint into glorious spray paint!), your choice in color of Martha Stewart’s Craft Paint, Krylon Frosted Glass Finish Spray Paint, glass jars of any kind, tape, stickers or labels of any kind)

 Clean your paintable glass surface with alcohol before you start taping and painting! Tape off the area of your glass that won’t be painted with your colored paint…

 …using any type of tape, sticker or label that you choose. Press firmly to create a cute relief design!

Get creative with your placement! These jars feel nautical… but yours could be modern or shabby chic!

Using the Martha Stewart Spray Paint Kit, mix the paint and spray medium as directed on the package. Of course you can always use a regular type of spray paint, but this technique is just so much fun! Spray your glassware as desired… in a safe area, like my backyard!

If you need to turn, touch the taped areas…

Wait only like 5 to 10 minutes before carefully removing the tape. Removing it before the paint dries completely will help prevent paint from lifting off the glass.

 
If your paint does lift off… use a paintbrush to touch up before you add the frosted layer.

After the first coat of colored paint is completely dry, then spray on the Frosted Glass Finish… this is my favorite part! I sprayed three light coats onto the jars. When this paint is wet, it looks wet – it takes like a minute to fog up and then just looks amazing!

So fun… and gives off such a romantic light!!! The frosted look will go perfectly with any color scheme!

Something Blue

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.... all things a bride is supposed to have with her at her wedding. There are so many ways you can incorporate a touch of blue to accommodate this tradition. I always say make it creative! There are also no rules anywhere that say the blue has to be hidden where no one can see, so don't be afraid to show it off. ;)

Add some blue bling with "I Do" rhinestone stickers for the soles of your shoes.
You could also use your initials or your wedding date!
