2 oz cola
2 oz club soda
A Splash of Chambord (Raspberry liqueur)
Juice of 1/4 lime

#SignatureSaturday :: Whiskey Station + Pomegranate Whiskey Sour

Stations are all the rage these days for appetizers, dinners and desserts. Why not have your signature drink in the form of a station? We've used Whiskey as an example, but you could incorporate any of your favorite liquors or wines. Choose an open station with several choices, or keep it to one whiskey with one mixer.

The Pomegranate Whiskey Sour below would be a great one to use for a station! Guests can mix their own from the pre-made syrup and lemon juice adders....

Pomegranate Whiskey Sour

INGREDIENTS

Simple Syrup:
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

Cocktail:
4 ounces bourbon whiskey
2 ounces lemon juice
2 ounces pomegranate simple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Make simple syrup by heating water and granulated sugar of medium heat until all sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat, add pomegranate seeds, and allow to cool completely. Run through blender and then strain through fine mesh strainer. Discard seed solid and keep the pink syrup.
To make the cocktail, combine bourbon whiskey, lemon juice, and pomegranate simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Vigorously shake until well combined, about 20 seconds. Strain into a low ball ice with extra large ice cubes.

It was a beautiful day outside for the snack station we put together today! Lemonade, Popcorn, Cupcakes, Wafer Rolls, Marshmallows and Cadbury White Chocolate Mini Eggs. It turned out beautiful! These setups are great for any occasion - - weddings, parties, home events or business events, children's parties or adult parties...we can create them in any theme, any size and any color!

DIY :: Wreath Escort Cards

Love this DIY project I saw on Project Wedding! Adding such detail to the small things really goes a long way...and these wreath escort cards would be beautiful adorning the table on the way into the reception! They would also be great for smaller events such as the rehearsal dinner, other dinner parties and banquets...

 

 

Supplies:

• Wire berry garland (one 4 ft garland makes 5-6 wreaths)
• Natural floral wire
• Shipping tags
• Wire cutters
• White glue
• Paintbrush
• Clear glitter

 

 

Instructions:

1. Cut an 18" length of floral wire using wire cutters and form it into a circle about 2.5" in diameter as shown.

2. Snip sprigs from a wired berry garland and wrap them around the floral wire frame.

3. Continue until the wreath has berries all the way around.

 

 

4. Brush on white glue with a paintbrush and sprinkle with clear glitter. Let dry.

 

 

5. Tie on a tag with guest's name and table number.
