DIY :: Fabric Flower Containers

These fabric covered flower containers are super easy to make and very inexpensive. By going to IKEA and getting a container for $1, then adding fabric, you have an instant decor piece for your wedding. Pick the fabric, twine or ribbon, and flowers based on your wedding colors to make them completely custom. They are perfect for hanging on the chairs along the aisle.

Supplies:

Bygel IKEA containers (only $1 each)
Spray mount
Fabric
Twine
Scissors
Flowers

Directions:

Step 1: Cut a piece of fabric 14″ x 9″

Step 2: Using the spray mount, go outside and spray the entire container. Make sure to spray a little on the inside rim as well.

Step 3. Take your fabric and tightly wrap it around your container. Make sure to press the fabric firmly against the container and smooth out creases and air bubbles. Tuck the fabric at the top inside the container. Then cut off any excess in the back to make a smooth line.

Step 4: Add twine or ribbon by tying it around the “hook” on the back of the container.

Step 5: Add flowers!

Tina + Justus had a Halloween themed wedding that was amazing from beginning to end! The Buddhist ceremony was held at House of Blues, and a Halloween themed reception followed. There was a Halloween candy station, plenty of fun props in the photo booth, and the pumpkin and candelabra décor topped it off! Such a fun day with a wonderful group of people! Congrats Mykel + Mike :: September 16, 2017

Today is wedding day for Mykel + Mike! Such a charming wedding for an adorable couple at Chapel Creek Ranch, a rustic gem of a venue in Denton. Absolutely lovely place for a wedding! The ladies sent photos so I knew exactly what they wanted, and it turned out so lovely! Mykel even had me add a shotgun shell for her Dad's boutonniere...loved that!!

Molly + Scott had a Catholic ceremony followed by a nautical themed reception....sailboat included! Their wedding was on an island, so everyone arrived by boat and the bride & groom made a fabulous entrance! They even had a personalized flag to fly on the boat for wedding day! The reception had a starfish theme, with a color palette of pink and chocolate. Absolutely gorgeous from start to finish! Happy anniversary Molly + Scott, and best wishes for  many years to come!

Megan + Carlos had a tropical vibed wedding including a lakeside ceremony followed by a spicy reception! Bright colors of pink, purple and aqua accented the details, and they included beachy themed items to go with their outdoor waterside wedding. For their first dance at the reception, they did a spicy salsa dance that wow'd everyone! (Something they're very good at!) Best wishes to Megan + Carlos and happy anniversary!
