3 Reasons To Have A Signature Drink At Your Event
Every Saturday we post a signature cocktail idea for use at weddings, parties or other events. The signature drink is a wonderful addition to any gathering for so many reasons! I find myself suggesting a signature drink to brides and clients quite often, and here are the top three reasons that I always make the suggestion!
Incorporate Your Theme
Signature drinks can be any color, have any name, have any garnish, be served in any glass, and there are so many ways to tie that in with your theme and color palette choices. Really go all out for your signature drink and wow your guests! Use colored glassware, create a bar sign to match, come up with a catchy name that's fitting for the event, incorporate an themed ice sculpture for pouring....small details like these are definitely noticed by your guests!
Quicker Lines
If you choose to serve a signature cocktail only (or beer + wine + signature drink) then your bartenders can knock out the mixing and serving quicker and guests will get through the lines much faster. Depending on the cocktail you choose, it's possible that it can even be pre-mixed before the event so your bartender just has to pour and serve. This is a huge plus for events with large crowds to eliminate long wait times for beverages,
Save Money
If you have a tight budget, serving a signature drink only (or beer + wine + signature drink) can cut the bar tab drastically. With a full bar, you're generally charged for any open bottles (even if only 1 drink was poured). You won't have the excess unused bottles this way!
