2018 in Review

It really is true that the older you get, the faster the years roll by. I have a hard time believing that 2018 is already just about over! This year zipped by so fast, but I had an amazing time on the ride! So many new things were in the works this year....which after 11 years of doing events is why I love this business! Always changing, always on your toes, always something new! I was blessed to meet some absolutely amazing people this year, from brides to vendors and venue owners. Looking forward to more in 2019!

Smoke Bombs!

My new obsession! I've seen smoke bombs in random photos for quite some time now and I've always wanted to use them! I finally had a bride who asked for ideas, so I suggested the smoke bombs. She liked the idea and decided to go with it. I think the photos turned out amazing!!! The photographers got both daytime and nighttime shots, and both came out stunning! They make an amazing effect in any photos; engagement, bridal, wedding, anniversary, fashion, etc.... Go bold and try some smoke bombs!

Vendor Spotlight :: David Loi Studios in Dallas

I had the privilege to work with the talented photographers from David Loi Studios last month at the epic Father's Day wedding of Cori & Stephen at The Springs (Denton). It was a day packed with so many amazing details, beautiful things, super fun people and fantastic vendors! David and his team really did a fabulous job with everything. We were both in attendance from beginning to end so I witnessed their hard work....and I can honestly say, they were on their toes all day! I just got the chance to see the slideshow of the wedding photos and I was floored! Amazing work, David....had to share with everyone!

Here are a few of my favorite shots singled out. :) I recommended the smoke bombs to Cori when she wanted floating lanterns for her grand exit, but as it turned out the candle flames inside the floating lanterns weren't allowed. Not a bad deal though....the smoke bombs turned out completely magical!

Congrats Cori + Stephen! :: Epic Father's Day Wedding

We pulled together some décor and coordinated for an absolutely epic Father's Day wedding this weekend! Cori was in Washington DC, Stephen was in NY, and they were planning a wedding in Denton, TX so they contacted us for some assistance. We came on to handle their day-of coordinating, flowers, linens and other rentals. I must say, it was a fantastic group of vendors involved and everything turned out wonderfully!

This power couple is amazing in so many ways! Both charming, both gorgeous, and both bursting with smiles! The men looked totally dapper in their blue suits, and the lovely ladies donned blush bridesmaids gowns in different styles. Cori was absolutely ravishing in her form fitting gown, the detailing on the back was stunning! Beautiful location, beautiful people, beautiful occasion!

Cori & Stephen both work in broadcasting, so there were touches here and there giving a nod to their power careers! Stephen's Dad was his Best Man and gave a toast, calling it an amazing Father's Day gift! They had a surprise ice cream truck arrive later in the evening to cool down the guests after the hot day! They both wore leis throughout the reception as a nod to Stephen's Hawaiian roots. I just loved all of their personal touches!

Congrats Cori & Stephen! The wedding as epic and I'm blessed that I was asked to be a part of it! Wishing you both a life full of blessings!
