Planning Tips :: Don't Forget the Honeymoon Checklist

When your wedding day nears, you'll have enough to do with the preparation for your big day! Make sure your honeymoon planning and packing is done and out of the way so you can enjoy wedding day and have a seamless transition from wedding to honeymoon!

  • Paperwork: Make sure you have your passport, your ID or Driver’s License and travel insurance within plenty of time so you don't have to scramble towards the last minute. Double check to make sure this info is packed to take with you on your honeymoon!
  • Skincare: Ladies all have a skincare regimen they use daily, and you should plan to take this along...but don't forget the sunscreen and aloe vera! If you’re going somewhere sunny, beachy, outdoorsy, etc. then sunscreen is a necessity!
  • Credit Cards & Money: Make sure you have the current currency before leaving for your trip. It's much easier to do the conversions while on your home turf.
  • Prescriptions & Birth Control - Don't forget these important items! Make sure they're packed into your honeymoon luggage so you don't have to think about it on wedding day!
  • Suitable Clothing: Research the weather and know what's coming. Do a little bit of research a few days before your departure so that you know what to pack. Make sure you're covered for rain and cold, and dresses and heels for stepping out!
  • Camera: Unless you'll just be using your cell phone, make sure to pack your camera and accessories to document the fabulous once in a lifetime trip!
  • Electrical Converter or Adapter: If you're traveling abroad to another country, this is possibly a necessity for you. Make sure to research and accommodate your needs before you go!
  • Travel Size Bathroom Items: You never know what will be provided on the other end of the flight, so make sure you have what you need with you; razors, travel shaving cream, travel shampoo & condition, travel soap, and any other specific travel sized products you can't live without!

Leave Behind With Family or Friends

  • Your travel itinerary and any special plans or trips you plan to embark on while you're away
  • Hotel phone numbers
  • Photocopies of your passport, ID's and credit cards
